The SP316 Cardboard Carton Shredder allows you to recycle your waste cardboard boxes, helping to protect the environment and save money by not having to purchase additional chips or bubble wrap, and reducing costs of skip removal or the compacting of old cartons.
The SP316 Shredder is a single-phase unit that plugs into a standard 13amp socket, and shreds card products up to 320mm wide and up to 12mm thick at a rate of 10 metres per minute. It produces flexible lattice matting that can be used to void-fill or protect a variety of items on demand. The SP316 produces 1-2m3 per hour of void-fill with a recommended maximum run time of up to 6 hours and has a footprint less than 0.5sq.m. The unit also incorporates a cutting system, so in a single pass, the machine simultaneously cuts and processes the cardboard, trimming and shredding pieces to a given size - perfect for individual items.
